It was a fairly cool day, overcast, with a swell turnout of great vehicles, good food, great music by the "Lords of Cool" band and D.J. Sam Triplett!
The 3 winners of the 50/50 got
$57.00 each. Winners of each of
the 3 games (Spark Plug Contest, Sack Race, and Moon Walk) received a $89.00 old fashioned radio as their award. The ladies received a lot of door prizes, including a $129 old fashioned radio, and the kids got some great gifts too! All courtesy of FloridaCarClubs.com. Every car registered received many door prizes!!!
The trophies were fabulous! Over 40 trophies were given to the top five in 8 classes of vehicles. The trophies were handed out by Naples Mayor Bill Barnett and Collier Chrysler General
Manager Jim Schmidt, who also selected the "Best of Show" winner.
Funds raised were given to the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Collier County.
The many folks who
volunteered for this great show are to be congratulated as this show was full of fun and events
throughout the day! Special thanks go out to Jim Schmidt for his desire to have the best show in Naples, to Richard Curry of RCC Advertising for his untiring efforts to have a successful show, to my friend Marion Krutchkoff of Ft. Lauderdale for her support and assistance and to John Quigley of Naples for his photographic skills.
